Feb. 6th, due to the expected Snow.
You may mail in your registration form and Pay Online (click on Reg.
Tab above), or come to Sign-Ups on Feb 6th at the same time and same
place. The $10. Late Registration Fee will be waived up
through Feb 6th.

Showcase Day
February 20th - Showcase Day gives all coaches the
opportunity to see each player, prior to drafting teams.
All coaches are expected to participate. Players are required
to participate in the showcase, if they are to be considered in the
primary draft or for those Shetland or Pinto players who have
requested to PlayUP NOTE: In case of inclement weather, Showcase
will be moved to Feb 27th.

Coaches:
It is very important that you start to gather information for
your team sponsors. We need to have all information in by the
2nd week of scheduled practices, in order to have
banners, and necessary uniforms made. All sponsor information,
including checks need to be turned into to Margie Walker (371-5367).
Coaches Meeting & Drafting Teams -
February 16th (coaches meeting) Drafts Feb 22nd thru February 26th. The dates and times for each
division will be decided by the Commissioners. If Showcase Day
is delayed due to inclement weather, draft will be
moved to March 01 - 05.
Windsor Castle Park Ball Fields –
Offer withdrawn Oct. 30, 2009
SRA Board members; President, Danny Hughes, Vice-President, Ray
Todd, Finance member, Margie Walker, and Softball Commissioner Chuck
Bauer, attended the Smithfield
Town meeting held Tuesday November 3rd, and expressed the
Club’s disappointment in the outcome of the proposed ball fields at
Windsor Castle Park. Board members will continue to pursue any and
all opportunities to see that the children of our community will
someday have the ball fields needed. The SRA Board will provide
updates of any new developments to it’s members via email and this
web site. SO STAY TUNED!
