Team Sponsorship
Smithfield Recreation Association (SRA) is a local non-profit
organization that organizes baseball and softball for
approximately 400 children (ages 5-16) in and around the Isle of
Wight area. Our mission is to encourage, in all of the children
who participate in our program, the development of
sportsmanship, athletic skill, teamwork, self-reliance,
self-discipline, and the ability to win graciously and to lose
with dignity.
In the past, businesses in our community have come forward to
help us maintain a program that instills core values that make
our children good citizens. Our baseball and softball programs
teach good sportsmanship, self-esteem, respect for others, and
the true meaning of teamwork. We believe that with the
dedication of our volunteers and the support of local business
owners, we can all have a direct influence on our children in
becoming good citizens.
SRA is looking for businesses, groups, and individuals to
support our youth baseball and softball programs. Your
sponsorship helps provide funding for new equipment, field
maintenance, and helps keep our registration fees affordable.
SRA is a non-profit organization that could not exist without
the continued generous support of local businesses like yours.
We now offer an expanded sponsorship program to give you more
options to fit your budget.

Sponsorship

a team receives a 3’x6’ banner to display
on the dugout during each game. This banner will include your
business name and phone number, the team name, and each player’s
name and jersey number. Sponsors names will be
listed on our “Sponsor” sign located at the concession stand.
$600 Sponsorship (1 or 2
sponsor)

in addition to the
banner, the baseball players receive personalized game jerseys
with their name and number on the back. The player would be able
to keep this shirt at the end of the season. Softball
players will receive a practice shirt in lieu of a
personalized jersey.
$900 Sponsorship (1, 2 or 3
sponsors)

in addition to the
banner, the personalized jerseys or practice shirts, Coaches
receive personalized jerseys, baseball players receive roster
t-shirts, and softball players receive string bags.
