The
Smithfield
Recreation Umpire
Association, headed by Chief Umpire Mike Sheets, consists of
interested
people from our community who have the desire to develop and exercise
umpiring
skills. A goal of the Association is to assist with individual
development
of umpiring skills through training and participation in games suited
to
their level of experience.
Umpires at
Smithfield
Recreation receive compensation for their services.
The
Umpire
Association
is in
need of additional people who would like to participate. Anyone
16
years of age or older is welcome to contact
